Player Highlight: Ryan Wittman - Cornell




Cornells’ Senior Forward Ryan Wittman had an excellent games this weekend making history for the Ivy League school.

He averaged 17.8 points and 4 rebounds per game this past year, while setting the Ivy League record with 107 3 pointers. Ryan was named Ivy League Player of the year for 2009-10, and NABC All-District selection for 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, along with other Ivy League awards.

He was born and raised in a small in Minnesota, moving to Ithaca New York to attend Cornell where he majors in Agriculture and Life Sciences. His father was actually a Big Ten Player in 1983 for Indiana. He was a former NBA guard and former head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Hopefully Wittman will bring out the best of Cornell in the Sweet 16 this weekend.
